We are now located in Sherwood Park, Alberta

(Kim and Kaylen above)

My daughter, Kaylen, first conceived the vision for GlitteringGold Bengals. She fell in love with the Bengal breed through the Internet, cat magazines, etc. For 2 years it was almost all she talked about! Eventually, I started looking into these bengal cats myself and well…I caught the vision as well!

Our aim is to produce healthy high-quality Bengals, with excellent lines, that are extremely well socialized.

Our kittens are raised in our home with all of us and are sweet and cuddly

(as shown in the pictures)

One of the spots we have for our adult cats is in our attached garage. This is also where the spraying studs hang out. We are always in the process of improving our facilities and have plans to build an outdoor enlcosure off of our studs' cages:o)

This is our kitten "Kindergarden Room". It is located right off of our kitchen and this is where the kittens and their mommy come once they start eating real food to learn litter habits, etc. Then once they are a little older, they have easy access to the whole house from their room.

We love having Bengals as part of our family and couldn't imagine our home without one. We must warn you though that Bengals are like potato chips--you can't stop at just one:o)

The Bengal breed was started
in 1963 by a lady named Jean Mill of Millwood cattery. She crossed
a wild female Asian Leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalis) with
a short-haired male cat. This was the beginning of the Bengal
breed as we know it today! These exotic cats are very affectionate,
inquisitive animals. They love to be around people, and have
surprisingly different characteristics than most domestic cats.

Our first litter was born Feb. 12th, 2003 ~6 beautiful, healthy kittens! We knew this was just the start of many more! Please keep checking back for upcoming new litters!

Our goals are to produce Bengals with...

We want to make sure that the new owners are very happy with their new family addition. We will make every effort to stay in contact to answer any questions or concerns.

My daughter and I are very excited about this new venture and want to thank you for visiting our site! Please feel free to E-mail us with any questions you may have about this wonderful breed of cat.
